Re: [fast5] Starting today.

Today I was working on a project painting. I caved at 2:00 and had a Atkins protein shake because I felt really sick. After I though that I was probably just dehydrated.

I saw this group on my Yahoo page, which I had signed up for and never used. I've been having a rough time with weight gain, depression, etc. My interest in Fast 5 is renewed. I thought my best window is 2-7. My family likes to eat at night. I can stay busy in the morning with just coffee, I believe. What do others do to fill the space before your window? I'm hungry.

Yes, this works Sandra. It is nice to know you can have a treat during your window.

you asked if others had the problem with portions and yes, when I first started with fast five I ate a LOT in my window. after all, the main reason I liked it was that you eat whatever you want during your window. no muss, no fuss lol.

I stopped, I re-started, I stopped and re-started again. and now I am on for good. I noticed as time went on I got full faster and started eating less. one of the other posters said something about eating too many sweets. I love sweets. but the point was made, know your own body. I eat dessert every day. I can do that because I portion it. I know I can eat more tomorrow. I have one meal that I truly enjoy and I'm done for the day. if I think about food outside my window I just think about what I'm going to have tomorrow.

good luck everyone

I wonder why it is so hard to get back on? I experience the same thing. I made it through yesterday easy though.

I also have found it much harder to get back onto Fast-5 than it was to start the first time.  This time around it's been over a year and it still isn't as easy for some reason.  Everything from wanting to eat outside my window to making bad choices on what I eat.  Carb cravings, too.

I'm sticking with it though.
