[fast5] Asia

Hi,

"Right. Except, say, most of Asia. Chinese and Japanese are skinnier (and
live longer) than folks in the US, even when they eat the same amount of
calories and get the same amount of exercise. And they do eat mainly white
rice."

The Chinese do not live longer than us, nor are they more healthy (The China Study is a farce). Neither are the Japanese as a whole.
They do have less of some types of cancers.
The Okinawaians are the longest lived and healthiest people on Earth-but their diet is different from mainland Japanese.
Asians as a whole,  eat very small amounts of white rice, wheat, buckwheat, millet as their grains and lots of fermented foods. The fermented foods are what give them the edge.

As for the rest of Asia-they are all over the board.

Am in IL
