[fast5] Re: Newbie (Chelly)

Cinnamon is supposed to be good for stabilising blood sugar. Cayenne pepper is a wonder food IMO... just google it..

Hi Karen,

You mean like butter? I do eat quite a bit of fat already in seeds and nuts.

[fast5] Re: Newbie

Hi Heather,

Do you think Angora goats would give enough milk? I am really into fibres... building to get some Angora rabbits soon .... then will build for chickens... and then was planning for goats. So if milk didn't work out for me I would still have fibres. I would have to protect here too... we have leopard and jackals. The little Swiss Milch goat is real sweet. I am building very strong housing for the animals I am planning on getting... rock and cement. I really want to lick this dairy allergy... I love cheese and yogurt!

I love yogurt but find I react to it too. It might be that it is made with pasterised milk and that is the problem. Is why I am so determined to detox.... I heard that with each liver detox more and more allergies disappear.. Well I only have the dairy that I am aware of. (Sugar intolerance is different I think and I just stay away.) This programme is the ultimate way for me to detox because I can do it!!! : )

RE: [fast5] Just beginning ('good' of intermittent fasting)

We really (ok, I) do need to get a good answer under our belt, eh?

I continue to encourage my sister in her trek and my mom is about ready to
have a fit.

I need to read more on the health factors of intermittent fasting to put her
at rest (no, not KILL her....)

case, especially anyone in the fitness business (Crossfitters excluded)
likes to point out how unhealthy this is? Currently this seems like the
diet for me, very liberating and simple.

[fast5] Re: Irritability

I know how kids can require an extra range of resilience and patience. I suggest that for now you break your fast before interacting with the kids. After a few days of this, maybe a few weeks, you'll likely find that stretching the window becomes less irritabilty-provoking and you can work with it on a day-by-day basis.

Best wishes,

Bert

[fast5] Re: Irritability

Thanks Ellen and Seven for the comments. I don't think this irritability thing is a deal-breaker, just need to figure it out a bit. I was thinking it was the hunger, but actually, I can relate with what you're saying about after first eating, getting antsy, and being on a mood swing. It is true also that I have tended to break my fast with less than wholesome food, so perhaps the protein/fat, low carb at first could be helpful. Thanks again!
