mysweetcupcake... I have high cholesterol also and my doctor wants me to take Lipitor but I just keep refusing. I used to take a lot of prescription meds and I gained 60 lb and lost a lot of hair! prescription meds cover up symptoms and the side effects are worse than the original problem sometimes. also, I have read a lot of articles lately saying that high cholesterol meds don't work and cause serious problems.
I'm not advocating for anyone to go off their meds just letting you know my experience.
