Hello
it's nice to hear that fasting has helped you with your gut issues. I too suffer (sometimes really badly) with Irritable Bowel Syndrome. I tried my first ever calorie controlled diet in the Spring, and the IBS pain, bloating and constipation was the worst I have EVER had! It was all the extra vegetables and salad! In the end I had to give it up!
Have been doing the EatStopEat 24 hour fasts this past 3 weeks and although it doesn't appear that I have lost any weight or inches, my jeans feel much more comfortable and my gut feels really good compared to normal! The constipation (just not going!) seems a bit worse than usual, but I have just read that that can happen with Fast-5... something to do with your gut trying to adjust to your new way of eating. Don't know what to do about that really.
I have just joined this group tonight (7th Nov 2011) so I hope I am posting this in the right bit! lol Takes a while for me to get used to a new forum!
Jan :O)
