Re: [fast5] Re: Breaking the plateau

I dont eat like that at all. Im a beginner so Im taking one thing at a time  lol. I eat whatever I make everyone else for dinner. I start with a snack to break the fast at 4. Could be anything from a cookie a banana, nuts to a protein shake. Then I eat a normal dinner. Steak, speghetti, chicken etc.at 6. I even make breakfast for dinner since I missit a bit, Im usually pretty full. If by 8 I feel like it, I have anoher snack. Could be frozen yogurt, cheezits, cookie and tea. So, Im a very bad girl, but it works for me. Im losing weight not tons, but its definately the inches. My clothes are loose. I do work out 6 days a week with a combination of weight training and cardio. but thanks for the tips. Ilove reading them. Have a good weekend all.  Im going out to eat on a date Saturday and Ive never felt excited to eat anythingon the menu. Im always agonising what I should get to not spluge on my diet. Fast 5 lifestyle so far works great for me. May not be for everyone. I know. Alot of people think Im nuts, but I dont care. I like it so far.

Nom! I dunno how long it can go on either, but it's interesting to see a similar diet. Lately I've sort of given myself permission to eat what other people are NOT eating, and finding that what I crave is very similar: big salads (and stir-fries) with loads of stuff on them, fish, and eggs. I made pumpkin bread, chicken casserole with pasta, etc. for everyone else, but I just don't want it.

I'm afraid it is making me into a lousy cook, but maybe that will translate into being a better gardener next year. So we have plenty of fresh green stuff.

Good points, as usual Heather.  Still have no hunger and I've managed to drop over five pounds in the last three weeks or so.  Tonight I broke the fast with kimchi and two hard boiled eggs.  Later I had a big salad with greens, onions, green peppers, 2 eggs, olive oil, grape tomatoes, balsamic vinegar, one avacado, salsa, and walnuts.  Just had a can of sardines and in an hour or so, I'll have a packet of almonds.  Curious to see just how long this can go on...  ;)
