[fast5] Re: Donating blood fasted

I'm certainly too late, but thought I would pass on the contrary view.

I ended up laying on the floor in the canteen afterwards first time I donated platelets (not whole blood) fasted. It's not like I hadn't gotten used to Fast-5, I'd been doing it for over a year. If I recall, I finished donating around the time my eating window would have opened. With platelet donations, it takes about 2 hours on the machine. It was probably 10 minutes after I was done when I passed out. But recovery didn't take long.

In any case, be careful.
