Hi,
Sorry for the long post. I've been doing Fast-5 about 2 years now. I have trouble with high blood sugar at times. I'm not on any medication, just trying to do it with lowcarb eating and exercise. When I first started Fast-5, I checked my sugars throughout the day and except for the first week I started, they stayed in pretty good range (95-120). I recently became aware that I have what's called the Dawn Phenomenon, which means my blood sugar rises sometime in the early morning. I recently started checking first thing in the morning and my blood sugar has been high (140-150) and it keeps climbing. I tried just eating a little bit, like a few slices of Parm cheese - but that didn't really help. Last night before bed I drank water with vinegar. This morning my sugar was lower than its been (129) - still not good but lower than it has been. Well I checked an hour later and it was 164. So I don't know what to do - I love eating this way, but I can't have high blood sugar a good part of the 24 hour day. I thought about just changing my window to eat breakfast and lunch, but I know I wouldn't be able to not eat at night (dinner). I would appreciate any suggestions or input anyone has.
Thanks,
Cindy
