[fast5] IF - hunger question...

Hey all

I've been using Intermittent Fasting for quite a while (past 2 months
consistently?).

I eat lunch and dinner, so have about a 16-hr fast.

Some days I feel no hunger before I break my fast, but other days I wake up
hungry. Usually once I get busy, the hunger goes away.

But the last few days, I'm feeling hungry "right away".

I'm thankful to comprehend the difference between hunger and cravings; yeah!

I've just been ignoring this hunger but it keeps coming back several times
before meal time. Stomach growling, attracting attention and all!

Is this a sign that I need to increase my food intake?

As it is, with eating two meals, I just can't "eat enough" to last longer.
As in, meal 1 will be 4 eggs, 50g (3.5 T) coconut oil, 15g butter, a cup of
broth and sometimes a veggie (either celery, usually, or steamed broccoli).
This meal fills me up and I don't start getting hunger signals till around 4
pm which just get ignored till dinner is ready, around 630-7. On these
recent days of early hunger, I don't eat any more at the break fast....

Then the 2nd meal will be meat (generally 4-5 oz) in butter, more broth
(with coconut oil) and then a generous vegetable serving with butter.
Again, I'm stuffed.

An update on who I am and what I'm about: I'm following a candida program
(which means no grains, nuts, starches, sugar, fruit, dairy); I don't eat
between meals; I have two very light work outs/week; my usual morning walks
have been dumped as we lost our walking trail; I want to lose body fat (have
15-10 lbs to lose). I drink only water. I really love what I learned here
about fasting and love IF.

Thanks for your input!

Karen
