I felt I needed to give a reference to 'how much' meat i was eating; I just dump cooked meat in to a pan to reheat it and figured it was about that much (from years of counting/measuring)...

+++ Interesting... My eggs just stuff me so perhaps a thought would be to have just three eggs and add the meat in instead of four eggs?

+++ Ya, I like celery. And I really couldn't care less about having veggies; i, too, don't think they're necessary. In fact, I had some cooked broccoli earlier this week with my first meal and i "crashed" later on! Doesnt happen when i have the celery...
>>Suspect your evening meal has turned into more Habit, than necessity.
+++ interesting! I'll give it a try today, which is a work out day. Like I said, I get hungry around 4, but since I'm up to my elbows in household jobs and dinner prep, I just ignore it (used to reach for those awful addicting nuts!). But dinner sure tastes good... Last night was sausage (ground pork to which we added our own seasonings) and 2 fried eggs. Did have well-cooked broccoli...
