Hi Churyl. I do get my blood work done about every 3 to 6 months and I get a fitness profile done once a month. This allows me to watch everything that can be measured.
I am sure you are correct, between stress and lack of sleep my body is just holding on to all that "fat". There isn't much I can do as my job keeps me running crazy hours and the stuff on the weekends is for me, so I don't want to give any of that up too.
In fact I have a very busy weekend this weekend. Saturday the shelter I volunteer at is having a "Homecoming day". there will be a barbeque, vendor booths, tours of the newly renovated kennels, a doggie kissing booth and more. It will be a lot of fun, but I will be working from about 11am until 6 or 7 pm and I get to work the "refreshments" area too. That means I will be fasting, but having to cook hamburgers and hot dogs for the public...:) Good thing I don't get hungry easy especially since I don't care for meat.
