...and 10 pounds gone! I'm still amazed this is working so well.
I had mentioned that I was going to Disney World for a week, but that
didn't happen. My Dad had a medical emergency and we had to cancel our
trip the night before we were supposed to leave. Bummer! Dad is now
in a nursing home and we're considering whether or not this will be
permanent. It's tough to see parents age.
Anyway, the week we were to have been away, I over ate due to all the
stress over my Dad and my weight went up, but I pulled myself together
last week and the scale started moving in the right direction again.
I still struggle more than I think I should with eating to much when I
break my fast (now at 2pm) and then I'm not hungry for supper. Some
days I'm successful having just a small snack and waiting for my body
to know it's been fed, but other days, I'm ravenous and once I start
to eat, I just keep going until I feel satisfied. I'd prefer just
having a full meal when I break my fast, but that's not when my DH
wants to eat and I'd hate to give up our one daily meal together
anyway. I've thought of moving my window later - I was doing 3-8pm for
a while - but by 2pm I'm so hungry, I can't imagine waiting until 5 or
6pm to eat.
Any suggestions for how I could manage this?
Kathy
