I stumbled across Fast 5 during my research on weight loss strategies. And I am really excited.. it might be just the life saver I needed!
In may this year I was 168 Lbs, 45% Body Fat, the highest point in my life, that was my wake up call when I saw my scale digits. I had to do something about it. I started eating one meal per day (without knowing anything about FF or IF, without any knowledge on fasting at all), and within 3 weeks I lost 13 Lbs. I was then obsessed with diets and fitness and did more research, and made a conclusion that eating small meals 5-6 times a day was the way to go. During this trial, my weight was creeping back up, and I was not having results. 5 months later, still, no results.
Frustrated with the "experts", I decided to go back to eating once a day, but wanted to find more information so that I have a foundation to work on, and to see if others were doing the same. 2 weeks ago I found the gold, FF, IF, WD. These were valuable information that suited more to my lifestyle as I tend to eat much more at night. Thank you so much for those who are a part of this.. research, findings, success stories, I owe you my happiness!!!
Unfortunately the week that I started, October 18 @ 158.2 Lbs, I was ill for that whole week. My 5 hr windows were flexible and I cheated here and there and my weight was stable. Last Monday was my start of the 2nd wk, this time I was more committed, and I have been loosing a pound a day since, quite exactly. Is this normal?
I enjoy food so much more, I eat cheesecake without guilt, I feel great and leaner.. and my self esteem has sky rocketed somehow?
So excited!
