The whole point is that you don't want your body to produce any extra insulin during the fast. Dr Herring calculated a five calorie cap based on this no-insulin parameter. I routinely use small amounts of heavy cream in coffee during the fasting period because it has no sugar and doesn't raise insulin in small enough quantities to be used in coffee.
I wouldn't use any kind of milk during your fast because it contains sugar/carbs which can raise your insulin levels and shut down the fat-burning metabolism. What heavy cream will do however is raise your blood triglycerides so that your body doesn't need to burn as much from your "trouble spots" until the triglycerides from the heavy cream have been used for energy. But since the heavy cream won't raise insulin, it won't lock your fat cells and you'll still be in fat burning mode.
Honestly, the best thing to do is to just get used to tea or black coffee. But if you can't resist, heavy cream is the better of the evils. :)
