There's a fair bit of evidence that sugar, especially fructose, suppresses the immune system. As a result OJ...probably a bad idea.

Says a woman who used to reach for her OJ as soon as she got sniffles. *sigh* And I never avoided being sick. These days I just grab Vit C pills and a immune booster that I like (has D3, coconut oil, resveratrol, olive, and a few other things I don't recall), and signs of sickness fade the next morning. *knock on wood* Good be I've just been lucky.
