Karen --
Thanks for the insight about eating more fat and less carbs. I have to consciously work at that, because I'll admit since I started Fast-5 I haven't eaten exactly wonderful food -- with my November madness it's been all junk, and boy, can my body tell!
I am definitely carb addicted, and eating them at any meal absolutely saps my energy, makes me sleepy, etc. HATE that reaction. Unfortunately, LOVE the carbs.
But I also love how I feel when I'm fasting -- no blood sugar highs and lows, no problems with energy (I'm a naturally high-energy person anyway). So for at least 19 hours/day I'm feeling pretty fabulous.
I'll try to work more fat and fewer carbs into my diet and see how things work out -- I promise to report back here, too!
