There are a number of ways to make turmeric milk. The recipe I posted
was more involved. I usually just chop up some sliced ginger (When I
get fresh ginger, I slice it up thinly and put it in a jar, then cover
with sushi vinegar. Keeps forever that way), add a tsp of turmeric, a
dash of pepper or cayenne, some honey. Then add coconut milk or rice
milk (I don't do dairy), and heat it like you would cocoa.

Turmeric isn't for everyone though. It's a love/hate thing! It does
chelate iron, which I believe helps with blood sugar control and
appetite issues.

However, I do believe also that people who do Fast5 have a
better-tuned appestat, and if your body is telling you it doesn't
*like* something, there's a good chance it's not particularly good for
you. I tried for the longest time to eat good "whole grains" and got
more and more aversive to them, until I would choke trying to eat a
piece of bread. I figured I had psychological issues and should just
"get over it". Some years later I discovered that I have celiac, and
those healthy whole grains were poisoning me.
