[fast5] Numbers & calorie counting Re: lightbulb is on!

Thank you Phil, I am sure that is helpful for some people.

I have to say, just for myself, I could never, ever count calories or measure the amount of food I eat by ounces or anything that involves numbers or counting or measuring, it just inhibits me completely.

The only measuring for food I have done is an advice to eat no more than the size of both your fists of food. Somehow that image worked for me. Later, I heard from another source to eat protein (meat) the size of one fist. Basically, I strive to eat 2 fists of food or less, and a good amount of protein within that much. But with Fast-5 I stopped worrying about that, only eating once a day, I eat much less than I used to. I guess 3 meals a day would have been 6 fists of food. I don't eat that much in my one meal, maybe 2, maybe 3 fists at most.

Anyway, we are all different. We respond to different methods.
