[fast5] Re: Checking for what is normal...

I appreciate all the replies and the good reminders of how deceptive a scale is.  I've made a different kind of resolution because of it.  I am staying off the scale for a morning weigh in.  Because I am truly committed to this from a health standpoint I think I'll enjoy it more without the constant reminder of weight.  I'm going to weigh once a week only and I took my measurements and wrote them down, I'll check body composition (I have one of those scales that does it but have no idea how accurate it is) and measurements monthly but that's enough.  I bought a new pair of jeans the other day and they were a size smaller than usual and they are loose enough that it makes me wonder if I should have gotten the next size down!

I've settled into a good eating pattern and the Christmas desserts are gone so I baked myself some nice little individual size cakes made from almond flour with maltitol syrup instead of sugar.  Low sugar, low carb and delicious.

Thank you everyone!!
