It has now been two weeks on Fast-5. At first, I wondered if I would actually be able to go from 10pm today until 5pm tomorrow with ZERO calorie intake. And, if I could do it one day, could I do it consistently? Yes, I could and I have, and it was not a tough as I would have thought. Admittedly, a couple of times I seemed to check the clock a little more often than usual between 3pm and 5pm. :)
Each day at 5pm, I get a feeling of having 'won'. As others have stated, it is good to not have to even THINK about food during the day. And, it might be the power of suggestion, but food DOES seem to taste better, for whatever reason.
I appreciate all who have shared their experiences, either on this yahoo group or on the Fast-5 forum. It is encouraging! Thanks to Dr. Herring for sharing this fantastic Fast-5 lifestyle with the rest of us. Thanks, also, for answering my earlier concern about losing several pounds in the first two weeks. (Yes, it is likely mostly water weight, but I am certainly okay with that. I feel really good, and my clothes are fitting a bit looser already.) I look forward to steadily losing about a pound week until reaching my 'ideal' weight.
Until next time,
Dan83
