[fast5] Re: Newby

Thanks Guys.

I have lost about 40 pounds on a low carb very restrictive diet in a matter of 2 months. I just loved the way that I felt, it's like I could feel myself getting skinnier by the day so I know what real fat loss feels like and that is why I'm not interested in any other eating plan where my weight goes down, but my stomach doesn't appear flatter or my arms don't feel more toned (because I'm losing fat). I will definitely try the tape measure thing, got to do something.

Taubes explains how by eating very low amounts of High-Glycemic Carbohydrates, doesn't allow Insulin levels to rise. In this way, Low-Carb and Fasting are alike, Both Low Insulin level states.

It's a filler, for when I'm bored or irritated or lonely or angry. Anyway, I lost about 10 pounds in 2 weeks. Felt pretty good, but I did at some stage feel like I hit a plataue. After 2 weeks only, what did I expect. My biggest danger is the scale. I get up every morning and I'm urged to get on that scale. If the numbers are down I'm okay, but if it's up then I start doubting if the program is working. Anyway, I am starting tomorrow again, because I've picked up 8 pounds in the past month. Hope you guys can keep me motivated and I promise (provisionally) to only weigh once a month. So 16 Feb I will be weighing in. Wish me luck. BTW my window is 4-9 felt the best cos when it gets to 5 I'm so ravenous that I eat way to much so 4 is my break-fast time.
