Seriously. Yesterday I was wearing my jeans, and as I was walking, I had to keep hiking them up! This happened all day. I've only lost six pounds, so it took me a while to realize that they are actually too big now. I've been doing FF for . . . 4 weeks tomorrow.
I think the big difference is that my tummy has deflated a lot, and I have lost weight mostly in that area. I think this is because my insulin levels are stabilizing, which is what Bert said would happen. I had never carried weight in my tummy (especially the upper part), until the last few years. After having done some research, I believed it was because of high insulin levels (though I didn't do much about it). It was one of the reasons I was intrigued by FF, along with the fact that I regularly skipped meals when I was naturally slim, just because I wasn't hungry.
I also realized yesterday that I haven't had the awful heartburn in at least a week. Keeping my fingers crossed that it continues, because it was really severe.
I'm loving the FF lifestyle. I'm not hungry, and am enjoying the lightness and energy levels and the freedom from the obsession I had with food. Now I enjoy my afternoon snack and evening meals a great deal more, and don't really think about food otherwise. I'm cooking more and enjoying the fact that I can cook whatever I want.
