Re: [fast5] Starting week 3 of Fast 5 and have lost no weight

Hi Jillian,
I am also starting week 4 today and I am under 5 feet as well and will turn 30 at the end of the year. I have not had the chance to start excercising as my husband's schedule is changing and I still have one child not in school yet. I weighed in this morning and I havent lost any weight either...BUT.... I have lost inches everwhere else...2 inches off each thigh and 2 and 1/2 off my waist. My bust is also smaller in cup, and around my rib cage I have lost 2 inches, and I can see it in my neck and face. The book says that the inches will tend to come off more before you will see anything happen on the scale. It also says not to expect anything untill after week 3. Im happy with what I see even though the numbers havent gone down at all on the scale. I would like to loose 45 pounds. How I can loose that many inches and not loose pounds is beyond me but I like it anyway!

I havent made the best choices either as far as what I eat for meals but that is why I like this plan..two of my kids had birthdays last week and that means cake and leftover cake! :). And I have another kid having a birthday in the next 2 weeks.

From what I have read here people usually follow some sort of other diet plan during their eating window like low-carb or zero-carb. I dont because I have a family to feed and cant make stuff for them and then stuff for me...it's too time consuming and expensive and you cant feed children on a weightloss diet plan.

Feel free to email me off group. I would love a "diet buddy" in the same stages as me.

Hi everyone. I'm a newbie here. I read the Fast 5 e-book and I started eating just once a day about 3 weeks ago. The first week for my one meal I didn't make the healthiest choices. I ate pizza and hamburgers a few times. This past week I've been eating salads and lean protein for my meal. I still have a few bites of cheesecake and a few crackers. I'm a junk food junkie and it's been hard trying to stop cold turkey.

My problem is that I have not lost any weight at all. I've also stopped having regular bowel movements. I know in the e-book he mentions your bowel habits would change, but he didn't elaborate. I also know that he says one pound of weight loss a week was what to expect, but I've eaten this way before and I've always lost a few pounds a week. Yesterday I had maybe 900 calories total. I'm shooting for 1,000 a day (I'm under 5' tall).

I'm getting discouraged and just wondering if anyone has any advice for me. More about myself - I turn 30 next week and I have a desk job. I do try to walk a few times a week but with a toddler at home, I can't always get away.

Thanks!
