[fast5] Re: Nothing is happening!

Regarding Alternate Day Fasting, I believe a breakup of the daily Fast-5 routine which is easy to be comfortable with, could be a way to breakout.

36 hour Fast a couple times a week is much deeper into fasting than the 20 hours we get with Fast-5. A mix of both types of fasting might be preferable to get off a plateau. After 36 hour fast, I noticed appetite is much reduced on an eating day, seeming like stomach shrinking from the longer fast, so much so that I end up following a single meal Fast-5 type of eating with only a meal or two on that alternate eating day. This definitely makes it a reduced calorie week. Like others, including Gary Taubes "Good Calories, Bad Calories" are saying, Low carb, high fat helps as well.

Feel that stomach shrink, while the scales seem to be stuck.
