Re: [fast5] ideas for cooking small meals



Even though I have a family, I usually cook my own meals because I just happen to like different kinds of foods. What I have found is that one of the very best meals is stir-fry ... I just chop up some vegies (whatever is handy) and some meat (usually though I use fish or shrimp). Stir-fry the vegies on one side, the meat on the other, then serve it over rice (I love rice). With a nice dipping sauce.


It just isn't as good if it isn't fresh, so I make just enough for me, which takes one pan. For rice, we often eat a pot a day, but if they aren't eating it, the leftovers can be microwaved or heated up in a toaster oven easy enough. Or stir-fried, in which case you get fried rice.
