Up to 5 calories is legal, but neither one is actually digestible, so they don't contribute calories. Konjac does get digested, but it's something like 12 hours later and still, it isn't many calories. Basically they both turn into a jelly that makes you feel full, but doesn't add anything to your bloodstream.
