I don't know, but it might be worth experimenting ... go back to
lemon juice and see if it still happens.
The acid in lemon juice is citric acid. The acid in vinegar is acetic
acid. The two behave differently ... I don't know if it has to do with
an isomer effect or what, but over the years there have been
some weird effects on people I know when one is used rather
than the other. Your body is rather exacting when it comes
to handling chemicals!
Another interesting case is lactic acid. It comes in two isomers,
and one your body can use for energy, the other has to
be excreted by the kidneys mostly. Some bacteria produce
one form, others produce the other form. But there is a major
difference in what they do once you ingest them!
I'm also not sure what "being tired" signifies. I get really really
sleepy whenever I exercise more, but I think what it means
is I'm growing muscle. Could be if your body is healing
from something, you get tired.
Tiredness after meals though, often
means I ate too much starch. Starch is known to do that ...
it stimulates production of serotonin. Which isn't a bad
thing if you want to go to sleep. So maybe ACV does
that too, at least in your case? Or stimulates insulin,
which likely is NOT a good thing.
You could also try this in the morning: a cocktail of
lemon juice, hot sauce (I like "rooster sauce" from the Asian
market, it's a staple! but cayenne powder will do), and
squeezed garlic. Some people swear by it for "getting going".
Makes me feel good, at any rate (I drink it hot).
Miso soup is also good, though I'm not sure about the
calorie content. Some Japanese believe it is THE best
thing to eat first thing in the morning.
OTOH, if you aren't getting tired NOW, then great! Yeah,
your body for sure is changing, it has to, you changed
what you are doing. You just need to track if the change
is going the direction you want. One week really isn't enough
time to tell though. Just record all this as "data points" in your
journal, so you can go back and review them later!
