I had a small surgery last summer and at that time I didn't change anything but again, I just had a small lump removed from my axilla and not a hysto so I won't even try to answer that question but I wish you well in your surgery and recovery.

I occasionally go over the 5 hour eating window and have still maintained my loss. For those of you who ask about cream in your coffee - I have REAL heavy cream in my coffee every morning and have since I started Fast-5 and it has not deterred my weight loss. YMMV of course. Okay on to my question - I have to have surgery in August (hysterectomy) and am wondering about Fast-5. Should I stay on it or go back to eating more often? For reference, I usually break my fast with a snack of nuts or trail mix and then eat dinner. In other words, I don't normally eat 2 meals in my 5 hour window. I'm just not sure if I will get enough protein (for healing) in that one meal and snack. Dr. Bert or anyone have any suggestions for me?
