My question is about the timing of Supplements and Medications.  Some of them must be taken with food and some are twice a day.   How do you handle those?

If you have to take medication that must be taken with food more than 5 hours apart then you can't really Fast5. However it's still possible to do it more or less. I was in that position for a while. I asked my doctor if I absolutely had to eat with the tablets and it turned out that some of them were ok without food if I didn't feel sick. There was one (I can't remember what it was) that had to be taken with food so, because like you I'd low carbed for years, I took a small cube of cheese with it.

That wasn't strictly Fast5ing but I knew that for me it had to have no carbs or it would make me hungry. The cheese didn't spark of hunger and I was able to stick to it apart from that and i still lost weight. Also when those tablets finished, I didn't have any problems giving up the cheese.

I think that if this is going to become a way of life, we all have to find what within it works for us.

Good Luck
