Re: [fast5] Re: question on low blood sugar readings and crashi

Lynn,

I did choose to stick out the low blood sugar with no calorie intake but I was prepared to eat something if I needed to to raise it up fast. Everyone is different, you need to stay healthy.

I limit protein and high purine foods because I sometimes get gout attacks, a form of arthritis where uric acid crystals settle in your joints, it is very painful.

found for me walking around when my blood sugar is low helps bring it up a bit. Ease into the fast. Anything that you consume can affect your blood sugar even 0 carb.

Today when it happened I was actually working in our garden and realized I had to get back in to lay down. I was out of breath the short walk back.

If I lay down during it I usually fall asleep and most times when I test my glucose level has risen a bit after the nap. Very odd.

thanks for feedback...I really appreciate it as after reading the insulin control success stories I'm sure mine is classic and can repair itself also.

Lynn
