If you are concerned I would read up on it at www.bloodsugar101.com and start home testing.   On that site Jenny tells you how to test your post meal numbers and and lots of other very interesting information .  The important thing is to get a handle on it as soon as possible because of all the damage that unrecognized high blood sugar and high insulin can do.  By the time your fasting blood sugar shows up high things may have been out of what for a long time.  And not all of it can be repaired at that point.

Unfortunately I have found that I have high blood sugar and really cannot eat any sweets or starches anymore
