RE: [fast5] switching length of eating window - Re: After 3 weeks, why do I eat less?

This is my main concern over switching my intermittent fasting days….

I was going to keep to a 12-hr fasting window on lifting days then switch to the 19-hr fast on resting days.

I’ve done this for the past week and have been ok, however.

Guess I’ll keep going till it bites me.

Yeah, hunger is mostly a hormone-induced illusion. Your body has an entire system to make you feel hungry so you'll eat. You have more nerves dedicated to your gut than to your brain (really).

But it doesn't turn on when you actually RUN OUT of glycogen or fats in your blood. No way! It's smarter than that. It turns on when you are accustomed to eating ... like a dog that knows it is time for dinner even though it already ate some potato chips from behind the couch.
