RE: [fast5] Timing of the 5 Hour Window

Of course, you’d ask ME that, LOL!

I started Fast5 probably a year ago.

Up front confession is that I continued to eat junk during my window thinking I could get away with it.

I read so many people saying they just ate whatever they wanted in their FEASTing window; I thought I could, too.  But I am so close to maintenance, I guess there is no allowance for ‘slop’ on my part!  J

I am a serious weight-trainer and about the end of October, I gave up Fast5 because I was missing lifts that I had gotten in the past and felt overall weak.  (more than likely because I was not giving my body the fuel it needed.)

I just started full-time Fast5 again 3.5 wks ago (I had started back up in the spring but only on my light lifting or resting days).

I had many ‘clean eating’ days but quite a few ‘crap eating’ days in there, too.

Right now, I have switched to low-carbing while I use Fast5.  Today is day 3 of that.

I do not think I have lost anything (but I won’t weigh till tomorrow; have not weighed in 3 wks).

Yes, I want to lose more fat.

But one thing I love about Fast5 is the freedom from continual meal prep and eating; the being tied to the ‘eat every 3-4 hours’ mindset that had me almost paralyzed…  knowing that the feeling of hunger is not going to KILL me..

Thanks Karen.  So how long have you been on it, and how much have you lost?
