RE: [fast5] (Rick) Re: (Heather - food gifts

Aw, the insightful words of a man...

You are, of course, right. I missed a full month of work outs and I'd
never seen a bigger smile on his face nor heard more words of appreciation
from him when I was finally able to start training again!

Even tho I only lift half of what he is able, he appreciates the camaraderie
that we share and, amazingly, he says I motivate him to push harder!

I've been helping him look for short shorts for his weight training. All
the boy shorts today are sillily long. I know when I'm squatting, I want
short shorts so they don't hang up on my quads. He has the same issure.
Not cookies and not fattening, LOL!

Hi Karen-

If your training partner knows better and doesn't really want the cookies,
he'll know that the "cookie lady" went out of her way to make him a bag of
fresh roasted peanuts or some special jerky that can't be found in stores.
But I have a feeling he values your friendship with or without the cookies.
There aren't many ladies who are into power lifting or getting up at 5:00am
to exercise.
