Your post was great. I too, had low-carbed for years before I ever tried Fast5. I think the two are complementary. Like you, I need the Fast5 to actually lose weight and I found it fairly easy to start again, I think due to the low carbing. Therewas one writer I think it was 'Eades' who claimed in his books that the gold standard of dieting was low carb and intermittent fasting. I believe everybody has to find what suits them. For me I need to LC.
Just tell your colleauges you've found a way of refining and improving a low carb diet and you're testing it out. Yes, all my friends think I'm mad but now they're still overweight and I'm not.
