I've tried the strips and it didn't show any sign of ketosis, both 1/2 hour before breaking fast and 1 1/2 hours after. I am losing weight though, even if with ups and downs, it must be simply the calorie reduction: yesterday, an average day where I didn't stuff my face but didn't deny myself anything, I counted to see how much I was eating and it was around 1400 calories. I'd imagine that before I started I was easily eating at least 2000 cals a day.
