Is anyone else here doing Fast5 in the UK?
Yep, I'm in Glasgow. I've been Fast5ing for about 19 months now. I've no more weight to lose, in fact Sh! but I'd like to put on a few pounds - i never, ever thought I'd say that :-). However I have no plans to give up Fast5 because I love it.
For me it was a lifesaver. 3 years ago I developed M.E. since then I've been totally unable to exercise, a walk to the shops can leave me bedbound the next day with PEM so between lack of exercise and eating being one of my few remaining pleasures, as you, can imagine, my weight hiked up. I was 190 pounds, just over 13 1/2 stone. I tried loads of diets, would lose a few pounds and then think 'Why am I making myself so miserable', they'd stress exercising which I can't do, so I'd think 'Stuff it' and go back to 'treating' myself with food thinking it would cheer me up.
Then I found Fast5 and loved it from the word go. It suited my lifestyle as, with the M.E, I no longer had to use energy during the day to prepare, eat and digest food, so I had a little bit left over for other things. It also changed what I ate, as I began to listen to what my body wanted. I haven't been well lately and my weight's dipped a bit too much - 107 pounds (7stone 9lbs) i prefer to be about 120 but I'll get there.
Fast 5 is something I envisage doing for the rest of my life. I genuinly believe Fast5 is the healthiest way to eat.
Cheers
Kirsteen
