RE: [fast5] weakness during fasts; weight lifting; was: Timing of the 5 Hour Window

so far so good on the lifting. even this morning, i increased my weight or number of reps on 5 of 6 of my exercises!

I really feel it has to do with the amount of protein i'm getting.

i experimented with vegetarianism a while ago. my lifts were fine but i found myself losing muscle tone.

so now i'm deliberately eating protein (whey powder, eggs, chicken, beef, turkey, etc).

still trying to figure out the 'right' number of grams for me. starting today, i'm aiming for 80-100g/day. my body weight is about 137 but i'd like to get lower body fat.
