[fast5] Re: Fast5 in the UK

David,
You're welcome, and thank you for posting.
I'm pleased Fast-5 is working for you. As for why it's not a global phenomenon, I think part of the answer is in your statement -- so many millions are being poured into the industry to make sure people take an "eat to lose" approach that keeps the industry going and keeps people struggling.

There may be a tipping point for Fast-5 somewhere in the near future, but there is still a lot of deeply entrenched dogma that makes people feel their bodies will fall apart if they go without food for a few hours.

Fast-5 is spreading through trusted relationships, friend to friend and among families, in old-fashioned real-life conversations as well as via this group and on Twitter. In 2005, that was only four people in all the world. I'm thankful for their trust and for their willingness to share with others. I'm also thankful for people like the members of this group who have the courage to step outside the box and try something different. My gratitude also goes to the members of this group who continue to freely offer their support and insights.

Best wishes and welcome to the group,

Bert

I have another 70 pounds to lose, but at last I can see an achievable way through to being slim again (I haven't been for at least 25 years).

I have virtually no hunger at all until my window opens at 5pm and then I find myself preferring all the healthy foods that I used to ignore. How can something so effective be completely free, when so many millions are being poured into the diet industry? Incredible.
