Heather,

I had itching too...full-body, 24/7 for 18 months. After seeing allergists, gastro and other docs about this I went to a liver specialist who wrote the book on liver disease. He recommended the low carb diet. But it was gluten that really helped me turn the corner. When I eliminated the big "G" my itching subsided. In fact now that's how I can tell I've been glutened at a restaurant. I start getting itchy.

Are you saying iodine supplementation would contribute to itching? I have a multinodular goiter and have been thinking about adding some seaweed.
