I love your blog Heather! I have been very interested in SIPs for a while, but haven't figured out how to do exactly what I wanted yet, but now I have a really good idea. Yesterday I was sitting out in the garden w/ my partner and we decided to redo it - and now I know how! Something along the cabbage patch garden design. Build a wood raised garden bed, probably 2' by whatever, and place plastic rubbermaid containers inside it w/ the black perforated ag pipe in the bottom of each. I had thought about the blobal bockets/earthbox idea before, but I didn't want to invest in a whole lot of plastic containers that would be destroyed by the sun. And I wasn't excited by the aesthetics. But inside a wood box we could protect them. Or maybe we'll do the raised beds w/ pond liner in them, we'll see.
