[fast5] Re: Andy (and Karen updating)- "CHEAT DAY"

Using your eating window to "eat crap" is a funny side effect of this diet and the funny thing is, the diet still works if you do that but eventually it gets old.

I pick one day a week to eat for about 12 hours instead of 5 or 1 and the result is just a psychological benefit.

#1 I'm reminded of how bad I feel when I eat all day

#2 I act like everyone else for a day and it's kind of fun

#3 "CHEATING" is redefined as eating more times per day instead of eating like "crap" and I feel like a renegade fighting against the world just by eating more times even though my diet is still approximately just like a bodybuilders diet.

#4 carb loading has many physiological benefits too numerous to describe the most obvious one is you get to feel "full" one day a week and this fullness is a double edged sword... yeah it's fun but yeah you really don't even feel like doing it more than once a week. I always plan it on the day after my heaviest lifting for the week, not the day OF the heaviest lifting because I believe that overeating screws with growth hormone release. As all of you know here I'm a big fan of undereating on lifting days to maximize the results from fasting and lifting at the same time- I feel as if I'm using stored energy in the form of glycogen and free fatty acids when I lift at 11am and then don't eat till 7pm.
