Wow, Linda! 77 lbs in 5.5 months is amazing! You know what they say, the first 5.5 months is water weight. :) Just kidding, good going!
What I wanted to say though was two things. One question and one comment.
1) What did you do to get your body to start losing again?
2) Just a reminder, as you lose weight you'll need to eat slightly less food, like 50 or 100 calories per day. With less fat, you won't burn as many calories and it may slow progress. I think it's mentioned in Dr Herring's book that if you start to plateau, decrease your daily portions by maybe a slice of cheese or an apple for a few days and you should start losing again.
Keep up the great work!

I decided to put Fast-5 on "academic probation." That is to say, I decided that if I did not lose 1% of my current body in the coming week, PLUS 1% of my body weight for each of the weeks I was on the plateau, I would switch my diet plan. I was considering Atkins, and dreading it because what good is an egg without toast & marmalade, after all?

I'll do the math for you: that's 77 pounds in 5.5 months. I'm 68 years old and live a sedentary lifestyle; no exercise to speak of.
