[fast5] Re: MonoMeals?

I would worry about getting enough protein on that diet.  I do have some experience w/ raw (did it probably a total of 3 months, 2 weeks of it at a raw food place in Michigan.)  I think protein in that diet needs to be actively managed (although I know that is not a popular belief in the vegan and vegetarian community) and at a minimum you need to be eating nuts and seeds pretty regularily if you are raw.  I personally did not feel good on raw, and I think my current diabetes is probably worsened  and partly caused by the fact I did not actively manage for adequate protein for 8 years as a vegetarian, and instead ate a low-fat, low-protein, high (mostly unrefined) carb diet.  Other than that, I think the raw diet must be incredibly good for us, if you can just figure out the protein.
