If you look at most animals, esp. carnivores, they usually
eat a big meal, then go to sleep. It takes a lot of blood
to digest food, so the best thing to do is to be quiet and let
it digest. Meat is especially a lot of work to digest, but
carbs cause serotonin release, which makes people sleepy.
Which is why I did Fast-5 in the evenings for a long time.
However ... for me it also led to me having reflux at night.
Eating in the afternoon though, I often need a nap after lunch.
I'm thinking of moving back to 4-5 o'clock again, but stopping
eating a few hours before bedtime.
