Re: [fast5] Re: Are you following a diet plan?

I knew someone with PCOS once and how she got it under control was basically to eat a soft-boiled egg or two daily. I'm not sure what the theory is, but something about soft egg yolks seems to help. Lecithin maybe? She was a chemist and tried a lot of different foods, but egg yolks seemed to do the trick. It would be interesting to see if it helps anyone else.

I second that. PCOS is connected with insulin issues and a high sugar diet (grains are sugar) will only make it worse. The best way to control it is to eat low carb and stop grains all-together really. With your diet you are on an insulin roller coaster. Good books on the subject are "Good Calories Bad Calories" by Gary Taubes, "The Primal Blueprint" by Mark Sisson and more. Or start reading the info on www.marksdailyapple.com and www.paleonul.com.
