Re: [fast5] Re: What do you do when you're sick?

Good for you, sticking to your fast!

I got the olive leaf extract online, at Amazon.com. They don't appear to have it at our local health food stores. I got the "Vitamin Shoppe" brand, which comes in a dropper bottle, and I just add a few drops to a cup of hot tea. I haven't tried it as a nose spray.

I got some Barlean's too, but it has peppermint added which to me just tastes weird. The olive leaf by itself tastes something like green tea, a flavor I like.

Thanks to you all!  I persevered and stuck to my fast.  I didn't even have a cough drop, although did chew on a piece of peppermint gum earlier.  I've been drinking a lot of hot tea and it's helping.  When I get home from work I plan to impliment your other suggestions, thank you!  I'm not even close to hungry, I think when I get home I'll try some chicken broth or soup.

Rick:  It's been dreary here and much colder than usual.  In fact, we're supposed to get snow tomorrow if you can believe that!

Heather and Rick:  Where would I find Olive Leaf Extract/Tea?  At a natural foods type of store?  Or did you buy yours online somewhere?
