I’m sure this question is directed at Rick, the OP, but I will share my story.
I think I started Fast5 in July of ’09. My lifting partner got wind of it in about October and had an absolute fit, now knowing that I was weight training FASTED! He said, “No wonder you’re crashing while we lift!!”. And I gave up. It was true; I was ‘crashing’ while lifting and not getting the lifts I used to get; frustrated.
After gaining 10-12 lbs over the holidays, I went back to Fast5 until the end of February when I had to start taking an antibiotic twice/day.
So I currently am not fasting (although I CAN fast between doses and often do that on a weekend or my weekly ‘rest’ day).
Today and tomorrow, then I’m done w/my meds and can consider Fast5 once again.
In the interim, I am learning how to eat ‘regular’ meals throughout the day w/o getting the appetite roaring its ugly head.
