Welcome, Chellie!
When I was Fast5ing, my eating window was from 330-830 as I, too, didn't
want to be eating late at night.
Re: falling asleep post eating... this has been a huge struggle for me -
FOR YEARS!!!
And I do believe JUST THIS VERY DAY I have discovered what MY problem is!!!
I did fine w/my first meal (fruit/veggies/protein/flax seed) but then found
myself getting sleepy after my 'protein' pancakes (oatmeal, cottage cheese,
eggs, protein powder).
So I thought: too many carbs. So I had a Tbsp of peanut butter (couldn't
put my hands quickly on my almond butter!) and I snapped right out of my
sleepy lull!!!
