i did FF for 6 mos last year. Took about 6 months off. Then went back on in December. I have found that over all my moods have evened out greatly and irritablilitly has decreased. But I do think that something may happen when you eat your first meal or snack. It may be because you are eating too many carbs which shoots your blood sugar up and the you get an isuling rush bringing it back down. That roller coaster effect can definitely cause mood swings. Try having some protein and fat and a small amount of slower acting carbs, if any, when you first eat.

Hey Chet,
I can definitely relate! It would usually happen "after" I had my first meal of the day... before that I would be fine. I had stopped for a while and just started back up... I'm easing into this time... eating raw vegetables during the daytime when I get hungry (just carrots and cucumbers so far) and I'm exercising 4-5 days a week which is really helping a lot. I'm also trying to a lot of water as well as drinking a glass of lemon water like it has been suggested to help with the dizziness or spaciness that I experience... the spaciness usually kicks in shortly after noon.
I'm on day 3 today since starting back up and so far so good... I have not battled the irritability like I previously did.
Before, when I was getting irritable, I was basically binging when I could eat... too much of the wrong kind of food. I think it just shocked my system or something?
